We’re counting on you to help make this solidarity event a success! Bringing this project to life will allow us to provide tangible support, even if it may seem modest in light of the immense needs. A humanitarian disaster has been unfolding in eastern Congo since the beginning of this year. A ‘forgotten war’ flaring up at the cost of thousands of lives. Artists from the Democratic Republic of Congo or linked to the Congolese diaspora are joining forces and voices in a charity concert organised by Congolisation/Skinfama, with the support of Bozar and partners. Baloji, Jeny BSG, Camille Yembe, Reinel Bakole, Laryssa Kim, Julie Lombé, Pie Tshibanda and many other will raise their voice and call for solidarity for survivors of the conflict.

Besides buying a ticket, you can also donate directly. The profits will be divided equally among three associations active in eastern Congo: Basandja Coalition, Goma Actif and Panzi Foundation.

« Nous avons fait le pari de réunir, le soir du 9 mai, plus de 2 000 personnes en soutien aux victimes des conflits dans l’est du Congo. Nous comptons sur vous pour faire de cet événement solidaire une réussite ! La concrétisation de ce projet nous permettra d’apporter une aide tangible, même si elle peut paraître modeste face à l’ampleur des besoins. Une catastrophe humanitaire se joue actuellement dans l’est de la République Démocratique du Congo, où une « guerre oubliée » connaît un regain de violence, entraînant la perte de milliers de vies. Des artistes congolais et issus de la diaspora s’unissent pour faire entendre leur voix lors d’un concert caritatif organisé par Congolisation/Skinfama, avec le concours de Bozar et de plusieurs partenaires. Parmi les artistes engagés figurent Baloji, Jeny BSG, Camille Yembe, Reinel Bakole, Laryssa Kim, Julie Lombé et Pie Tshibanda​​​​​​​ ainsi que de nombreux autres, qui porteront un message de solidarité à l’égard des victimes de ce conflit.

Au-delà de l’achat d’un billet, il est également possible de contribuer par un don direct. L’ensemble des bénéfices sera réparti équitablement entre trois organisations œuvrant sur le terrain dans l’est du Congo : la Coalition Basandja, Goma Actif et la Fondation Panzi.
